Beth McKenna Quartet

Laureate of the Prix Opus for Jazz Concert of the Year (“Home: Montreal” – Beth McKenna Jazz Orchestra), Beth is quickly making her unique mark on the Canadian jazz scene. Having studied in NYC and Montreal with GRAMMY and JUNO-recognized artists Darcy James Argue, Jim McNeely and Christine Jensen, Beth’s unique writing and musical style can best be described as a mix of cinematic-jazz, rock, soul, R&B and indie influences including Radiohead, Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny, and Maria Schneider.

Joining together with Guillaume Martineau, Simon Pagé and Peter Colantonio, Beth presents an evening of her newer music and arrangements, influenced by cinematic jazz, rock, indie, soul and R&B, her imagination as well as reflections on different life experiences and spaces beyond here.

Beth McKenna – Tenor Sax
David Ryshpan – Piano
